The Taygetos Challenge returns for its anniversary year — registrations are now open for the 15th edition!
The Taygetos Challenge, one of Greece’s most important mountain running events, celebrates 15 years this season and returns on March 21 & 22, 2026, in Kardamili, West Mani.
Registrations opened today and will remain available until March 6 for the Standard participation packages, while the Enhanced package — which includes the anniversary technical sleeveless t-shirt by Anthrax — will be available until February 25.
The 2026 race program includes:
• HANSAPLAST Marathon 40 km
• Experience 22 km
• NIVEA SUN Basic 10 km
• Fun 5 km
• Vertical Challenge 650 m — required for those competing for a Taygetos Challenge ranking (combined with one of Sunday’s races)
The 1,000 m kids’ race is also back for good, with free participation for children up to 12 years old.
