Our motivation for organizing this event is driven by our vision for the development of our region through:

• Promoting volunteerism

• Encouraging the sustainable development of West Mani

• Showcasing the beauty of Mount Taygetos and the Mani region

• Cleaning and preserving ancient trails using gentle, manual methods

• Promoting athletic culture, particularly mountain running, and positioning the region as a sports tourism destination

• Highlighting local products

• Creating a foundation for promoting a healthy lifestyle and mindset

• Utilizing the area’s  mountainous terrain and connecting mountain villages with the coastal zone

• Fostering environmental awareness, especially among children and young people
